Mankial was founded in London in 2026. It is a small house with a long view, and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
Why Mankial
Buying online used to mean buying from someone. A shop had a name over the door, a person behind the counter, and a reputation it could not afford to lose. Much of that has gone. A marketplace listing can be fine or not, and nobody is answerable either way.
We think there is room for a retailer that puts its name on the listing, stands behind the product and is reachable when something goes wrong. Not a large range. A well-chosen one, sold properly, by people who would buy it themselves.
That is the whole idea, and everything else here follows from it.
The name
Mankial is a made word. It has no meaning in any language we know of, and that is the point. It was short, unclaimed and carried no history, so its reputation is entirely ours to earn. It will come to mean exactly what we do with it.

- Stock comes from manufacturers and authorised distributors, invoiced, with a paper trail. No grey market.
- We test in hand
- Every product is used by us before it is listed. If it does not pass, it is not sold.
- We hold stock in the UK
- Orders are dispatched tracked within one working day, from here.
- The listing matches the box
- Titles, images and specifications describe what arrives. Nothing more.
- People answer
- Messages receive a reply from a person within one working day.
How we work
We are based in London and we hold our stock in the United Kingdom. We sell through Amazon, eBay and this site, with the same products, the same prices and the same service on each. We start small, learn from every order, and add to the range only when something has earned its place.
